Three poems recount Vietnam War experiences: 'Song of a Former Spec 4,' 'The Corpsman's Elegy,' and 'Looking Back Upon My Weeks in the Specialized Treatment Center I Realize the Full Meaning of Nostalgia'. Ligi published poems in many magazines, including Counter/Measures, Agni, Quarry, Chiron Review, and Intro. Poetry Today, a weekly program on S.C. Educational Radio Network, WEPR-FM, 1972-79, produced three tapes of Ligi reading.
He currently goes by the name Elio Emiliano Ligi, Founder of the Portland Pataphysical Outpatient Clinic, Lounge, and Laundromat, co-author of 'The One Minute President,' author of 'Disturbances,' and literary terrorist (Leading the blind since 1896). He is a contributor to 'Poets Against War' (online).
